5 DAYS 4 NIGHTS; AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK - LAKE NAKURU - MAASAI MARA

Early morning pick up from Nairobi and depart to one of the major highlights of your safari. Amboseli National Park is renowned for its elephant populations and large herds, including some impressively tusked bulls which are drawn to a series of large, lush swampland. Arrive on time for lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, relax while enjoying the lodges facilities, e.g. the swimming pool, spa, etc. At 4:00 pm, embark on an afternoon game drive in the reserve until sunset. Return for dinner and your overnight stay at your lodge.

After breakfast, drive towards the Great Rift Valley with a brief stopover at the viewpoint. Arrive at Lake Elementaita for lunch. After your lunch, you will drive to the nearby Lake Nakuru National Park for an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru National Park is a world-class bird-watching safari destination and is fondly referred to as the bird watcher’s paradise. The park has more than 25 black rhinoceros plus around 70 white rhinos. There are also a number of Rothschild’s giraffes, waterbuck, lion, cheetah, and leopard. The park has also been a paradise for the lesser and greater flamingos. You will drive back to Lake Elementaita for your dinner and your overnight stay.

After breakfast, proceed to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve via the Great Rift Valley. Have en-route game drives to your hotel, enjoying the beautiful scenery. Arrive at your lodge/camp in time for lunch and check-in. In the afternoon, enjoy an enthralling game-viewing drive. Spotting lions, cheetahs and other spectacular predators is the highlight of your day (if luck is on your side). This evening, enjoy a sumptuous dinner at your camp

On this day, you can choose to go on a full-day game drive in the Mara with a picnic lunch or morning and afternoon game drives. Between the game drive, you can have an optional visit (payments direct) to the local Maasai Village. The trees in the distance might turn out to be a family of giraffes, those clumps of bushes a pride of Lions, and the rock that moves a rhino lumbering out of your way. With diligence and some luck, you may encounter a family of cheetahs or a herd of elephants crossing the path in front of you. Large animals are not the only entertainment—a family of warthogs may amuse you, running as fast as their little legs will carry them until they forget why they are rushing and stop to regroup. Return later to your camp/lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

This is the last day of your safari at least for now. We still welcome you back to enjoy your Africa safari with us again. After breakfast, you shall drive back to Nairobi for lunch and thereafter, you shall be dropped off at the airport or hotel of your choice. End of services.

7 DAYS 6 NIGHTS; SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE - OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY - LAKE NAKURU - MAASAI MARA

You will be picked up from Nairobi by our driver early in the morning. Immediately depart for Samburu passing through the equator line to Samburu land. Arrive with a short game drive en route to the camp for lunch. After lunch, relax before a game drive at 4 p.m. Samburu National Park has unique wildlife including the Chestnut-Coloured Reticulated Giraffes, Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx,Gerenuks, and the Blue legged Somali Ostrich. Other Kenyan wildlife in the park includes cheetahs and lions, as well as elephants, buffalos, and hippos. The birdlife is as plentiful as the wildlife in Samburu. The reserve boasts over 350 species of birds including vultures, kingfishers, marabous, and bateleurs.

Have another full day in Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives in the park. The sharp contrast of colors is the most remarkable feature of the Samburu Shaba and Buffalo Springs National Reserve. Enjoy the hazy blue of the surrounding hills and infinite sky, the chocolate brown of the Uaso Nyiro River which flows through Shaba and Samburu and the gray-green Nile crocodiles, the dusty soils interspaced with the vivid greens of semi-desert vegetation.Samburu is often considered the country’s best leopard-viewing area and ideal for the sighting of lion prides.

Have breakfast at the lodge and then load the luggage. Enjoy your morning game drive in the reserve searching for the “Big Four” and the gerenuk. Later, check out of the reserve and head to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. You will have a stop along the way to stretch and visit the washroom. Arrive at the hotel for lunch and enjoy a relaxed time before your afternoon game drive.A safari into  the Ol Pejeta Conservancy will let you enjoy the company of rescued chimpanzees as you learn about the stories of torture they went through in captivity in West and Central Africa. This is actually the only place in Kenya to see chimpanzees on a game drive. You can also visit the largest black rhino sanctuary and learn about the conservation effort that is conducted to protect these endangered species. Later, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you will depart for the beautiful Lake Nakuru National Park on the floor of the Great Rift Valley, surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland. Visitors can enjoy the wide ecological diversity and variety of habitats that range from Lake Nakuru itself to the surrounding escarpment and picturesque ridges. Lake Nakuru National Park is ideal for bird watching, hiking, picnic, and game drives.

 

Later you will check in at the hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you set out on an exciting road trip to the Masai Mara with short stops along the way to visit washrooms and stretch your legs. Arrive at your camp and check-in  followed by lunch and a short time to relax before heading out for an exciting evening  game-viewing adventure.Your guide will take you to some of the area’s wildlife hotspots as they understand the game’s daily routines through tracking

Have a sunrise game drive after breakfast and leave with picnic lunch boxes for a full-day exploration of the wilderness.Dream of Africa and chances are that you dream of the Masai Mara. This huge expanse of gently rolling grassland specked with flat-topped acacia trees and trampled by massive herds of zebra and wildebeest, is the ultimate African cliche. For once, the reality lives up to the image. The Masai Mara, which comprises not just the famous reserve but also around a dozen community conservancies, several group ranches, and numerous Maasai villages, is for many people not just the highlight of their Kenyan adventure, but the very reason they came. Have dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Have early morning breakfast at your lodge and depart with your luggage to the reserve to do your morning game drive. At midday, head to Nairobi with a stopover in Narok where you will enjoy lunch (at your own cost). END OF SAFARI !

8 DAYS 7 NIGHTS: MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE - LAKE NAKURU - AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK - SALT LICK - TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK

Pick up in Nairobi by our driver guide and enjoy the drive to Masai Mara national reserve with a stopover at the rift valley’s viewpoint for a chance to enjoy the view of the rift valley that runs from Lebanon in Asia to Mozambique in Southeast Africa a total distance of about 7,000 kilometers, arrive in time to enjoy lunch. After lunch enjoy a late afternoon game drive in the vast reserve in search of the “Big-Five”, Lion, Rhino, Buffaloes, Leopard and Elephant.

Take full advantage of all the Mara has to offer with an entire day to explore. The expertise and experience of our driver-guide will maximize your chances of seeing all the splendors of Masai Mara and beyond. A family of cheetahs sunning themselves sleepily on a rock, the drama of a lion making a kill just 15-20 feet away from you, or the thrill of an elephant charge. The trees in the distance turn out to be the giraffe’s family. The clump of bushes is a pride of lions. And the rock that moves may be a rhino lumbering out of your way. Proceed to the Mara River where you’ll enjoy a sumptuous picnic lunch at the river. In any event, the sheer mass and spectacle of the animals surrounding you will provide endless opportunities to fill many an album of treasured memories.

Leaving the Maasai Mara after breakfast, you’ll travel across the ‘breadbasket’ of Kenya, where acres of wheat and barley litter the landscape as you head north to Narok, keeping an eye out for herds of giraffes and gazelle as you head up the Mau Escarpment before arriving at Lake Nakuru and check-in at the lodge. The waters here were often colored shimmering flamingo pink, from thousands of the beautiful birds lining its shores. After lunch, you will depart for an afternoon game drive in Nakuru National Park before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Enjoy early breakfast before we depart by road to Amboseli National Park, which is famous for its breathtaking views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. This park also shelters more than 420 species of birds, an enormous elephant population that are attracted to the underground springs fed by the melting snow of Mount Kilimanjaro.Eat lunch at the camp before departing on your planned afternoon game drive.

Awake early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit. We will then set off on a game drive. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from wildebeest to giraffes to baboons. You will eat breakfast after returning to the camp and enjoy the lodge amenities, you will eat lunch at the lodge at midday and enjoy an afternoon rest before going on another game drive.

Amboseli is home to the legendary Masai tribesmen. These warriors are a famous and proud nomadic tribe whose legendary prowess in battle and single-handed acts of bravery in fights with wild animals are known across the world.

Check out after breakfast, and enjoy the drive to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary for yet another experience with the wild. Your stay is at the famous Saltlick Safari Lodge that has been one of Kenya’s flagship lodges, famed for being among the World’s Most Photographed Lodges. A favorite amongst travelers in search of luxury accommodation, Salt Lick Safari Lodge is a luxurious safari escape set in the heart of the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary overlooking a waterhole and the vast Tsavo plains.

Enjoy a late afternoon game drive in the sanctuary, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay, you may also witness some animals coming for a drink at water pools near the lodge.

Check out after breakfast and enjoy another drive to Tsavo East Park. The park has arid bush and rock outcrops, such as the Mudanda Rock outcrop that is 1.6 km long. The spectacular Yatta plateau, about 290 km long, spills its lava flows into this park. A series of rapids, popularly known as Lugards Falls on the Galana River meander through the park. The Athi River, which begins from Nairobi, flows through the park. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of wild animals which include buffalo, lion, leopard, hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser kudu, gerenuk, and hirola antelopes.

Check out after breakfast, and enjoy an en-route game drive as you exit the park. Return to Nairobi on time.

3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK - TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK

Drive to Amboseli National Park. On arrival, check in at the hotel and have lunch. After that, go on a game drive. Amboseli National Park has the beautiful backdrop of the ice-capped Mount Kilimanjaro. The park is dotted with emerald green swamps, in which great herds of elephants wallow half-submerged in the papyrus grass. It also has African crocodiles, zebras, giraffes, antelopes, monkeys, baboons, hyenas, ostriches, and more. Later in the evening, you will visit a Masai village where you can interact with the people and also be introduced to their culture. You will return to the lodge for dinner and your overstay at the lodge.

Embark on an early-pre breakfast game drive to see the early risers in the animal kingdom. Later, return to base for a much-needed breakfast. After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and take off on a scenic drive as you make your way to Tsavo East National Park. On arrival, check in at the lodge and have a late lunch. After lunch, you will settle in for some rest and relaxation and then go for an evening game drive to visit the large herds of elephants, zebras, giraffes, and also gazelles. Later in the evening, you will return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

You will rise for an early sunrise game drive and then return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, you will check out at the lodge and begin your 6-hour drive back to Kenya’s capital city. Along the way, you can purchase beautiful crafts from roadside vendors at very fair prices.You’ll make a stopover at Mtito Andei or Emali town for refreshment and arrive in Nairobi in the evening. End of Safari!

5 DAYS 4 NIGHTS: LAKE NAIVASHA - LAKE NAKURU - MAASAI MARA

You’ll be picked from Nairobi and after a short briefing, you will head to Lake Naivasha. You will drive through the famous Great Rift Valley which stretches from the Middle East in the north to Mozambique in the south. The Great Rift Valley was formed as a result of the movement of tectonic plates and volcanic activity. Lake Naivasha is situated on the floor of the Great Rift Valley, surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland. You’ll arrive in time for lunch at the camp/lodge. After lunch, relax and later proceed for a boat ride to explore the lake and a walking safari in the game sanctuary.

Alternatively, you may decide to visit Hell’s Gate National Park where you’ll explore the park on bikes.

After breakfast, you will drive toward the scenic Lake Nakuru National Park which is one of the most popular parks in Kenya. The park is known for hosting some beautiful, endangered species like the rare Rothschild’s giraffe, white and black rhino, seen especially along the lakeshore.The park is also home to large flocks of pelicans, variable flocks of flamingos and other birdlife. Wild cats like lions, leopards, cheetahs, etc can also be seen here.

Dinner and overnight stay at camp/lodge.

You’ll leave Nakuru to Maasai Mara where you will have an early morning drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. It’s an unmissable highlight of any holiday in Kenya. It holds on as one of the few places left on earth where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed in the numbers that once roamed the plains and forests of Africa. As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of many thousands of wildebeest, zebra and attendant predators. Masai Mara is without a doubt, one of the greatest destinations in African safaris. You’ll arrive in time for lunch and then have an afternoon game drive.

Dinner and overnight stay at camp/lodge.

You will depart at 6:00 am for an early morning game drive. Later, return to your accommodation for breakfast and relax for the morning until midafternoon. Then, at 4:00 pm, depart on an afternoon game drive. You’ll return to the lodge or camp at 6:30 pm for dinner and your overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will check out from your accommodation and depart for Nairobi where you will be transferred to your location. End of Services!

5 DAYS 4 NIGHTS: OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY - OL JOGI WILDLIFE CONSERVANCY - LEWA CONSERVANCY - MERU NATIONAL PARK

You’ll depart for Ol Pejeta Conservancy in the morning hours. In transit, you will enjoy the scenic view of Kenya’s highlands, changing gradually to a semi-desert region as you cross the equator where you can stop and have a photo shoot.The expected arrival time at Ol Pejeta Conservancy is 10h30. Start the day’s game drive with the chance to spot both white and black rhino, chimpanzee, buffalo, gazelle, ostrich, oryx, waterbuck, baboon, eland, elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah, and jackal among other wild mammals.

We arrive at Ol Pejeta Wildlife Conservancy where you will kick off the day’s guided walking safari. Hike to where you might spot wild animals such as black rhino, Grevy’s zebra, and baboon among other animals. After the game drive, you will be transferred to the hotel where you will have lunch. You will check out in the afternoon and be transferred to Ol Jogi Wildlife Conservancy.

The expected arrival time at Lewa Wildlife Conservancy is 09h30 where you will start the day’s game drive. You might spot wild animals such as elephant, buffalo, cheetah, eland, lion, waterbuck, the reticulated giraffe, and gerenuk among others. Bird species likely to be spotted include the vulturine guineafowl, starling, goshawk, sunbird, and bee-eater among others. Don’t forget the acacia trees and cacti that are well manifested in the conservancy.

As you transit from Lewa Conservancy, you will be welcomed by the beam of the rising sun from the peak of Mount Kenya. The temperature gradually lowers much cooler. Upon arrival at Meru National Park you will check in and kick off the day’s game drive. You might spot wild animals such as the African bush elephant, lion, white rhino, hippo, Grevy’s zebra, wild pig, waterbuck, and dik-dik among others. Bird species likely to be spotted include falcons, sunbirds, rollers, kingfishers, starlings, and weavers. At 12h30, you will be transferred to the hotel for lunch.

As you transit from the Mount Kenya region to the Kenyan highlands, the temperatures will tend to rise gradually, and the vegetation changes from broad leaves to thin leaves. You will  be transferred to your location upon arrival in Nairobi. End of Services!
