I have been trying to get in touch with Sky but it’s impossible. They have almost doubled my bill & can’t access any way for emailing or talking to someone, just very unhelpful ‘help’ advice. It randomly freezes, saying loading on live tv, randomly freezes and exits out of apps like 4OD and Netflix. I’ve started using the apps built into the TV because I’m sick of it.
Re: Sky Stream Crashing and Buggy
Sky devices need to stay plugged in continuously to receive updates properly. My Sky Q box has been updating normally on the dates listed. Its rather a misleading thread title as you aren’t contacting Sky Customer Services on here.
It would be good to know if Sky are looking at this issue, which appears to be affecting quite a few people. I have the same issue on windows 11. Worked ok’ish on windows 10. We have a new Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 computer, running Windows 11.
If you’d still rather get in touch, contact us on xxxxxxxxxxx. And please bear with us. We get lots of calls every day, so your wait time will vary during busy periods. Opening times will vary by department. If you do have Sky Stream Sky do not offer a setup service as you need to do that yourself.
Also, Christmas is one day a year, not 4 months. All the greed and the want for expensive gifts that one may only use once or twice really, really “grinds my gears” (as Peter Griffin from Family Guy would say). Christmas should be focused on family, friends, community and being together, but it’s not.
It’s honestly a little sick and twisted. Getting back to the launch of a Christmas channel, I don’t think Christmas channels are needed anymore especially with on-demand, online streaming and dedicated FAST channels. Christmas content is available all year round now. The Sky Community is a customer led discussion forum where Sky customers are available to help other customers.

This is a customer led discussion forum where Sky customers are available to try to help other customers. Yesterday’s game in Ireland vegas casino apk was very entertaining. Could have been a good intro to the college football season before the pros start.
The network adapter is only a 100mbs port. It also eliminates a dodgy Ethernet cable or malfunctioning switch as the cause of your issues …… Sky Go for Windows 11 is broken for me as well, since the latest app update.
- But BBC channels go to Full Screen correctly, and on-screen controls are active.
- Stay on the line as long as possible and don’t hang up.
- Tried a few times, the same thing happened.
- And please bear with us.
- When we try to use the Sky go app on the computer it does not work properly.
Exactly the same symptoms as the original poster, i.e. on-screen controls are ‘frozen’ in place and cannot be interacted with, do not obey window resizing etc. Welcome to the Sky Community forum, where customers like you are on hand 24/7 (almost) to offer some fantastic advice and help on all things Sky-related. I don’t know about you guys but i’m excited to see Christmas movies back on our screens again when Great! Christmas returns on Thursday. Your box won’t have received the correct update for Sky Star Trek (311) on 18 August because Sky didn’t update 311. It updated Sky Sci Fi in the entertainment section by mistake.

- I have been away from sky for nearly 18 months now and it appears to have gone downhill.
Called up to see if I can get a new customer deal, got told as 18 months are not up (17 months!) , I am not a ‘new customer’ and quoted me an existing customer price! Decided to stick with Virgin Media who gave me a great deal and chucked in TNT sport for free. Sky weren’t prepared to negotiate whatsoever. Is this happening only on your devices? Do you ever unplug them or switch off the socket overnight?
Re: Sky Go App for Windows 11 not working properly
Anyone else have constant probelms with Sky Stream? I have 350mb broadband and the stream is hard wired. ( I’ve read a few forum lnks, same problem, though no apparent answer). I built my system and have 65gb RAM, 24gb Graphics Card teamed up with and i9 Processor and have the same issues. Worth noting that the app worked fine with 24H2 until the most recent app update.
The volume control stays on screen about halfway up, you cannot change volume, and cannot shut it down very effectively. Also rather than rely on third party websites for lists of included channels it’s usually best to rely on the information directly from Sky. @Molly44 You posted this in the Sky Stream forum, however Sky Stream is a self service/setup system and is not related to Satellite (Sky Q) or Broadband installatuons. Payment holiday only apply to credit items (such as mobile phone loans).

Discussion topic: I would like to speak to a real person at sky what’s the number?
Next weekend is Texas vs Ohio State. College football could be close to as popular as the pros over here with a bit of promotion. This list is updated weekly for the week ahead, but may still change. The kit is designed for WiFi …..
Other than that you will have to call Sky yourself as nobody will call you due to you posting on here. That’s correct regarding the initial 2 year deal in 2023, last year the coverage started pretty much straight away. Hopefully we don’t have to wait till November again for a new deal. Would be good to know if Sky will renew their coverage. Was pretty decent last year. If not then you need to contact Sky and give them 14 days notice to cancel it, so you can either call or use the messaging service to do this.
